Meet the Guardians Program of State University of Bangladesh (SUB).

Saturday, 19 April, 2008: Future grooming of a student depends upon the concerted efforts of teachers, guardians and university management. In this regard State University of Bangladesh organized “Meet the Guardians” program to develop a mutual understanding among guardians, faculty members and University management.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. M. S. Ilyas Dhami, Acting Vice Chancellor of State University of Bangladesh, Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Dr. M. Shahjahan, Advisor, School of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sadrul Amin, Advisor, Dept. of English Studies, Prof. A. Y. M. Ekram-ud-Daulah, Registrar, Prof. A. A. K. M. Lutfuzzaman, Dean, School of Science & Technology, Prof. Dr. Saiyid Fazl-I-Rubbi, Head, Dept. of Food Science & Technology, Mr. Saiful Islam Pathan, Head, Department of Pharmacy and Ms. Zinnatun Nahid, Assistant Prof, Department of Architecture. The program was conducted by Ms. Nazia Hussain, Lecturer, Department of English Studies.

Guardians, faculty members, and university management had open discussions and exchanged views. They observed that in the development process of a student, the role of a guardians and educational institutions is complementary and one should stand by the others to achieve a common goal for upliftment of students.
