State University of Bangladesh Celebrated
SUB DAY 2008

State University of Bangladesh celebrated SUB DAY 2008 to mark its 6th anniversary on February 6, 2008 at Grand Hall of Pan Pacific Sonargoan. The program was graced by members of board of governors, different professional dignitaries including renowned academicians, journalists and other media personalities. The members of Academic council, the faculty members and other officials were also present in the occasion.

 Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, Vice president, board of governors welcomed the audience by briefing them about the inception of SUB. Among the guests Professor Dr. SMA Faiz, Vice chancellor, University of Dhaka who is also founding member of the board of governors delivered a speech. Dr. A M Shamim, President, Board of Governors thanked 
SUB family for their continued effort to make SUB attain this stage. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ilyas Dhami, Acting Vice Chancellor of the university, reiterated SUB’s effort to bring in quality education to march the nation ahead.
