CSE Dept. of SUB organized a seminar on “Current Academic Trends and University Requirements in Global Arena”

The Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering of SUB organized a seminar on “Current Academic Trends and University Requirements in Global Arena” on January 12, 2007. Honorable Vice Chancellor of SUB, Professor Dr. M.S. Ilyas Dhami, attended the seminar as the Chief Guest. Major Gen. (Retd.) Dr. M. Shahjahan, Advisor, School of Health Science of SUB, was also present as a special guest. Keynote speech was given by renowned physicist Mr. Shahed Mustafa, who is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Devry University, USA. He eloquently described the teaching methodology that is currently being followed by the teachers of different Universities in USA. He mentioned that online degree and virtualization of education has become extremely popular in the developed world, especially in USA.

Prof. Dhami advised the faculty members of SUB to move side by side with the current trends in terms of adopting the teaching methods. Niaz Makhdum Muhammad, Acting Head, Dept. of CSE of SUB, conducted the seminar.
