State University of Bangladesh organized Workshop on “Research Methodology”

A One day Workshop on “Research Methodology”, organized by the Department of Public Health, State University of Bangladesh (SUB) was held in the Auditorium of SUB on 11th January 2008, Friday at 10.00 A.M.

Prof. Dr. M.S. Ilyas Dhami, Vice Chancellor, SUB, inaugurated the Workshop. The keynote paper was presented by Prof Amal Mitra, Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Department of Community Health Sciences, University of Southern Mississippi, Mississippi, USA. Basic concepts and scopes of research, study designs and ethical issues were discussed and presented through group works and group presentations. Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Dr. M. Shahjahan, Advisor School of Health Sciences, SUB hinted upon the problems of Hospital Management and suggested for its redress. Student of SUB and other Universities participated in the Workshop.
