PROF. DR. NURUR RAHMAN HAS JOINED DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS STUDIES

Dr. Nurur Rahman, Professor & Former Director of IBA has joined the State University of Bangladesh (SUB) as the Academic Advisor in its department of Business Studies. He is an illustrious personality in business teaching and socio-economic research. For the outstanding research work in his Ph.D. program, Dr. Rahman was awarded Sheldon B. Ackerman Award of Ohio State sponsored by the Ohio State University, USA. He was also awarded the life membership of Beta Gamma, Sigma for his outstanding academic performance in the MBA program in the Indiana University, Bloomington, USA.

Professor Rahman has a long and diversified industry background; he worked in nationalized industry, multinational corporation, and in national organizations. He served as the member of the First Labor Court , Dhaka for one year.

Professor Rahman has cross-cultural teaching and research experiences; he was an Associate Professor of Marketing and management in Bloomsburg State University, Pennsylvania, USA. He also worked in the City Polytechnic of Hong Kong as a faulty member. He worked as the National Expert on research project sponsored by (APO) Asian Productivity Organization
