State University of Bangladesh organized relief distribution program

Sunday, September 2, 2007: State University of Bangladesh, State College of Health Sciences and Freedom fighters volunteers jointly organized a relief campaign for the flood affected people of Sirajgonj.

Former Army Chief Lieut. General (Retd.) Harun-or-Rashid and Maj. General (Retd.) Dr. M Shahjahan handed over life saving drugs and saline to the Civil Surgeon in Sirajgonj District for the flood affected people.

In a short speech on the occasion Former Chief said, Freedom fighters always stand by the people at their need. He requested all to come forward to help the distressed people.

The team distributed food & Medicine in Songasha , Khokshabari village in Sirajgonj district. A medical team also treated the marooned people.

Maj. General (Retd.) Masudur Rahman, Maj. (Retd.) Ahsan Ullah, Dr. Naymul Hasan, Dr. Ashad, Ms. Moni and Students of State University of Bangladesh and State College of Health Sciences also took part in the relief campaign.
